Our hygiene products are COSMOS Natural certified by Ecocert and contain 99% naturally derived ingredients. COSMOS is an independent association that promotes ecological and sustainable cosmetics, helping to harmonise natural and organic cosmetic standards across Europe.

The COSMOS Natural certification guarantees that the formula contains at least 95% naturally derived ingredients and that we commit to:

All our home care products are certified as "eco-detergents" by Ecocert Greenlife.

Our powder refills are made in France, at our own factory in Dives-sur-Mer.

We control the entire manufacturing process from start to finish: from raw materials through to logistics.

At Pimpant, we decided to reinvent everything. Like a Michelin-starred restaurant, we've created a "star factory": a welcoming, efficient, environmentally responsible workplace that also cares for the people working in it. A factory where French excellence is expressed to the full.

Our "star factory" has a modest footprint of 1,500 m².

In terms of output, it can compete with factories seven or eight times its size, while being energy self-sufficient and using almost no water.

Our bottles are coated with a material that reinforces them and contains any fragments in the event of breakage. If the bottle does break, the pieces will be held within the coating and your hands will be protected.

No, mixing several refills is not recommended. Each shower gel formula is unique and is not designed to be combined with others.

The refill material is 100% recyclable. It is made of 83% paper from FSC® certified forest sources and 17% PE, which is needed to seal the ends of the stick.

Unopened, a refill keeps for 3 years. Once the refill has been dissolved in tap water, your product will keep for 3 months.

Our products are not tested on animals, as required by EU legislation which prohibits it.

All our products, except the stain remover, are vegan, meaning they contain no ingredients of animal origin. You can check this in the INCI ingredient list: they contain only natural plant-based ingredients and synthetic preservatives.

Our first priority is achieving COSMOS certification.

No, the bottle must be empty and clean before preparing your new product. To clean it, we recommend rinsing it with hot water (no products) and using a bottle brush.

Our refill powder contains between 6% and 10% organic ingredients depending on the fragrance, but it is not organic certified. Why?

To obtain organic certification, a minimum of 10% organic ingredients is required in the final formula. As the finished product (once mixed with tap water) is composed of 90% water and 10% active matter (the powder), our powder would need to be 100% organic.

That's not possible, as it contains some synthetic-origin ingredients, such as preservatives, which are necessary to ensure product safety.

Our hygiene products are certified COSMOS Natural by Ecocert and contain 99% naturally derived ingredients.

Their skin is much more delicate, so it's best to use products specifically formulated for them.

No, neither the ingredients nor the finished products are tested on animals, in compliance with EU legislation which prohibits it.

In addition, all our products are vegan.

Important note: the claim "suitable for sensitive skin" requires a specific usage test. As we haven't carried out that test on this product, we cannot officially make that claim, though we work hard to ensure our formula is as kind as possible.

Our detergent is ultra-concentrated: you need less to get the same great results!

Yes! Our detergent works with both hot 🔥 and cold ❄️ water.

Bear in mind that natural ingredients, especially soaps, are most effective from 30°C upwards.

It's suitable for all types of clothing: whether you're in a classic white shirt or head-to-toe colour.

It's also suitable for most fabrics, except wool and silk, which require specialist care.

• As a laundry booster alongside liquid detergent: 1 scoop (20 g) directly into the drum.
  
• As your sole detergent: 2 scoops (40 g), in the drum or the detergent drawer.
  

Yes, for tackling stubborn stains you can use it as a soak:

• Dissolve 1 scoop in 2 litres of very hot water
  
• Leave to soak for 2 to 12 hours
  
• Rinse thoroughly or put through a machine wash
  

⚠️ The powder contains sodium percarbonate, which releases active oxygen and may irritate skin. Avoid direct contact with water and use gloves or a utensil (spatula, spoon) to stir.

🔁 If used as your sole detergent, it only works at 60°C and above on its own, so it's best used in the washing machine or ensuring hand washing is done with very hot water.

One refill makes 250 ml of shower gel, the equivalent of a standard bottle. You can order as many refills as you need from the shop or through our flexible subscription.

Fluoride is a natural ingredient, well recognised for its many oral health benefits. In our formula it comes in the form of a fluoride salt: sodium fluoride (1,000 ppm in the strawberry flavour and 1,450 ppm in the mild mint).

Its key functions:

• Oral health active: helps prevent cavities
  
• Anti-plaque: protects against the formation of dental plaque
  
• Oral hygiene agent: provides cleaning, freshness, and protection
  

Fluoride is also essential for protecting the more delicate milk teeth of little ones.

The main difference between the adult toothpaste and the junior/children's strawberry toothpaste (from 3 years) lies in its composition, particularly the amount of fluoride, which is tailored to the needs of each age group:

• Mint toothpaste: 1,450 ppm of fluoride
  
• Strawberry kids' toothpaste: 1,000 ppm (for milk teeth)
  

The strawberry toothpaste is suitable from 3 years of age.

A few important points:

For children under 6 (inclusive), use a pea-sized amount of toothpaste, always under adult supervision, to minimise ingestion.

If the child is receiving fluoride from other sources, consult a dentist or doctor.

Our bottle is coated with a protective material that reinforces it and contains the fragments if it breaks. If it does break, the pieces will be held within the coating and your hands will be protected!

Yes, we recommend washing the bottle by hand between each new refill. Rinse it with hot water, no products, and use a bottle brush.

As many times as you like! One of the great advantages of glass is that it's a long-lasting material. You can keep your bottle for years.

Yes, you can use your own bottle if you'd prefer not to receive ours.

Do bear in mind that without the exact measurement markers included on our bottles, we can't guarantee the final result will be 100% as we've formulated it.
